Can't never will.
Can't does nothing, girl.
Can't has no thrill.
So what if can't can't?
Never have I minded
Can't is just a word
Denying it is blinded
As for nothing and its lack
You really think I care?
Being Nothing is my specialty
But I don't care to share.
My name means I'm a plan
A goal to be achieved.
My destiny abundantly fruitful,
My ambitions the world's seed.
Yet here I am Ms. Nothing,
A can't do this or that
I find myself successful,
Though just a youngling brat
I do nothing very well
Though Can't is all that can
From your logic comes hypocrisy
Not my intended plan
Can't never could, dear

Can't is your comfort's still.

Writing Prompt 28--Can't
From one of my particular favorite characters, who is in fact a female, and is highly enthusiastic about sleeping a lot. Her name is Mika, and she is not actually a Twisted character, but a girl/deity from my newest story. No spoilers right now though!
Her name is Mika, and she is the queen of Apathy and the embodiment/incarnate of Nothing. This is simply me reinforcing my belief that nothing is something.
Also, if anyone knows a lot about poetry and the types, and would like to tell me about them, I could probably categorize this one better. I just don't remember 7th grade poetry class...though I loved it a great deal.
Character (c) me and herself, though I think she would rather me just own her so she could do less.

I agree, tis a free style poem.. and a
very intriguing one at that. Does Mika
have a story herself yet or is she just
in the works? She seems a bit self
loathing.. almost as if she's reveling
in the fact that at least she can feel
something towards herself.. even if it
is bitter, pain. Better than being numb.
